Tom Drake was elected AEOE Southern Chair-Elect by the Southern Council February 11, 2005.

Kris Pamintuan was elected AEOE Southern Chair-Elect-Elect by the Southern Council Feb. 11, 2005.

History:

They were both nominated by the Southern Council at the board meeting on January 30, 2005.

On Feb. 4, 2005, Laura Vandezande called for the Executive Board to elect them via email. The Exec. Board was reluctant to elect them without knowing more information about them. During the email discussion regarding the experience of the nominees, Dan Allison informed us that elections are up to the sections. After the council has their elections, the Exec. Board elects these individuals to the Board.

On Feb. 9, 2005, Laura Vandezande made the following  motion to the Southern Council via email:

I move that we elect Tom Drake as AEOE Southern

Chair-Elect for this school year (2004-2005) and Kris Pamintuan as Chair-Elect-Elect (will begin term at Fall 2005 conference).
