Place: Joshua Tree National Park, Indian Cove Campground

Cost: Only $20 (with advance registration)

Includes: Camping, Workshops, Entertainment

Does NOT include: National Park entrance fee of $15/car - plan to carpool! Meals (prepare for camping)

CONFERENCE IS NOW AT CAPACITY! No walk-in registrations will be accepted, due to very strict NPS camping and parking restrictions.

5-10 pm check-in
8-10 pm – Astronomy, Campfire - details TBA
9-10pm Drum Circle - bring something to shake or bang!
10 pm - 6 am: Campground quiet hours

Saturday

7 am – birding, yoga, etc
8:30 am – welcome & intro
9:00-10:30 am – Workshop Session 1
10:45 am-12:15 pm – Workshop Session 2
12:15-2 pm – lunch
2-3:30 pm – Workshop Session 3
3:30-5 pm – free time
5:15 pm – dinner
8:00 pm – entertainment & campfire
10 pm - 6 am - Campground Quiet Hours

Sunday

7am – birding, yoga, etc
8am – breakfast board meeting
9:15-10:45am – Workshop Session 4
11:00am – closing

Directions

Joshua Tree National Park lies 140 miles east of Los Angeles.
You can approach it from the west via Interstate 10 and Hwy 62 (Twentynine Palms Highway).
Indian Cove Campground, where the conference is being held, has its own entrance:
Pass through the town of Joshua Tree where the main entrance is found and continue on Hwy 62 to the Indian Cove Entrance.

Carpooling is stongly encouraged - parking is VERY limited at the group campgrounds, and the park entrance fee is $15/vehicle. Click here for an online ride share forum if you can offer a ride to others, or if you need to find a ride.
