AEOE activities are informal and fun, offered as a way of relaxing, learning about new places, and sharing ideas with colleagues. They are a great way to learn about environmental education in a relaxed atmosphere. Last year, we had a Desert Camping Weekend, a Wild Horse Sanctuary Weekend Adventure, the 4th annual Colorado River Canoe Cruise, and the 5th annual Sierra Snowplay weekend! In the previous year we had an Eastern Sierra campout/Mono Lake Canoe trip, a birdwatching weekend in Anza Borrego/Salton Sea, a Colorado River Canoe Trip, a Sierra Snowplay weekend, and a Surfing Weekend.
