The conference is over, but the learning and networking is not - I will be
adding to this page as conference presenters, speakers, entertainers and attendees
send in resources or comments to share. Thanks to everyone involved for a great
conference!
Specific descriptions of all workshops offered are HERE.
More links to resources, organizations, etc can be found there.
Below are materials,
hand-outs, power-point presentations, and links to resources from
the workshops sent to the AEOE Webmaster by the presenters. More are coming
in all the time, so keep checking back! If there is a specific workshop you
are interested in getting resources from that is not represented here yet,

through these items!
Howard Bell Award
AEOE was honored to present the Howard Bell
Award to Stephen "Hoppy" Hopkins from
the Sly
Park EE Center (Sacramento County Office of Education) Hoppy has
been a tireless, passionate and enthusiastic supporter of outdoor/environmental
education and AEOE for many years - in fact, at the conference, he was the
only one who
stood up when Janice Smith, AEOE State Historian, asked who had been involved
since
the 1970's! We managed to keep the award a surprise till the end of the conference,
where Dan Allison and Savannah Brown tricked Hoppy into thinking he was only
getting the home-made "Golden Megaphone Award" Savvy had put together for
him! His surprise and delight were a joy to watch, and truly gave the conference
"a Hoppy ending"!
If a workshop/talk you attended is not on
here, it is because the presenters/speakers have not sent me their
materials, not because they were left out - I'd love to have resources
from ALL the workshops and talks. Maybe next year!
