Presenter Discounts
and Benefits
AEOE does not offer payment to workshop presenters
except for a few nationally prominent workshops.
It does, however, offer a discount on conference
registration
fees for accepted workshop applications. Currently,
there may be a few more spaces in the schedule for workshops, and although
the early deadline has passed (2/14 postmark), we will continue accepting
applications until all schedule spaces are filled. If your application
is postmarked by the late deadline (April 16), and your workshop is
accepted (pending available space) you are eligible to receive a 40%
discount on conference registration fees.
You must register for the conferences separately if you plan to attend!
Though you may choose to be present at the conference only during your workshop and to not register, you are strongly encouraged to register for the conference. Our insurance requires that you become a member of AEOE. We think that you will find full participation in the conference, including taking workshops yourself, will be of tremendous value to you professionally in exposing you to new ideas and allowing you to network and socialize with a wide variety of environmental educators. When you register (registration packets are available starting in March), you will enter the workshop session(s) you are offering and take the appropriate discount. One discount is offered per workshop; if there are multiple presenters, they may divide the discount in any way they wish. You must register in advance to present. Conference registration fees will be $105 for early registration and will increase for regular and on-site registration.
