Conference Schedule:

Friday

9:00 am -4:00 pm: Optional pre-conference workshops (register separately, in advance - click here)

5:30-10:30 pm: Registration & Check-In
*If you arrive after 10:30, sign up for housing and check in/register between 7-8am on Saturday.
7:00 pm: Workshop Sign Ups Begin - check out some of the great workshops you will have to choose from!

8-11:00pm: Salsa Profúndo—dancing in the barn!

Saturday

6:00 am: Bird walk –meet at dining hall
7-8:00 am: Registration & check in

7-8:30 am: Breakfast (dining hall closes promptly at 8:30 for lunch setup)
*Coffee & tea available all day at the Maple Room Teahouse

8:30 am: Conference Welcome & Keynote Address by Jon Young

9:45-11:00 am: Workshop Session 1
11:15-12:30 am: Workshop Session 2

12-1:30 pm: Lunch (dining hall closes at 1:30)
*you may notice lunch overlaps other events - don't panic! You may arrive at lunch at any time between 12 and 1:30 to accomodate your personal schedule and not miss anything! We had to do this to make sure the dining room wasn't overcrowded with everyone arriving at once, and to fit all the great things we planned into the schedule!

12:30-1:30 pm: Job Fair at Maple Room
12:30-1:30 pm: Registration & check in

1:30-2:45 pm: Workshop Session 3
3-4:15 pm: Workshop Session 4

4:30-5:15 pm: Special Meetings: Everyone welcome!

• Strategic Planning Meeting at Muir room

5-6:30 pm: Dinner

6:00 pm: Recalling the Early Days of Outdoor Education with Dr. Bill Hammerman - read up on AEOE's history here
7:00 pm: Keynote Address by Bertram Chatham
7:45 pm: Talent Show & Auction - sign up for the skit and talent contest!
9:15 pm: "Hardcore Bluegrass" jam with Buckeye Flatts
Or - Story Swap at the Campfire!

Later ~

11:00 pm until ?? Late night Reggae Dance Jam, hosted by the Walker Creek Staff, with Comanche Sound / DJ Big Steve-O, a professional roots reggae DJ. Get up, stand up... Stay up, get down!

Sunday

7-8:30 am: Breakfast

8:30-9:00 am: Journal & Tee-shirt swap at Visitor’s Center

9-10:30 am: Workshop Session 5

10:00 am: Silent Auction Bidding Ends

10:45 am: Awards, Prizes and Closing Ceremony at Amphitheater – pay & pick up auction items

12-1:30 pm: Lunch & Departure

1:30-3:00 pm: Cleanup & Board Meeting
