AEOE Institutional Members are cordially invited to participate in the job fair at the AEOE Spring Conference, April 27-29, 2007, at Sierra Outdoor School in Sonora. AEOE Conferences are the BEST place to meet potential new teaching staff - from enthusiastic interns to experienced teachers who are dedicated to learning and growing as educators, and to environmental and outdoor education.
As you have probably heard, the conference theme will be Connecting with Community. There will be 80+ workshops, events, and some really fabulous entertainment. We honored to be hosting keynote speaker Dr. Carlos Cortés. A UC Riverside Professor Emeritus of history and nationally recognized speaker, author, consultant and actor, Dr. Cortés is widely regarded as one of the founders of the multicultural education movement in California.
The job fair will take place Saturday evening from 5:45-7:15 PM. Participating programs will have the opportunity to set up displays as early as Friday evening. We will make every effort to advertise the job fair as a major conference event to encourage participation.
Each job fair presenter will have one-half of an eight-foot table on which to set up a program display. Access to an electrical outlet can be arranged if necessary. Please see the on-line registration form for exact times available for set-up.
Please fill out the on-line registration form, located below, by Monday, April 23rd, so that we can accommodate your needs. Keep in mind that you must have current status as an Institutional Member in order to participate in the job fair.
