Saturday Night: Skit and Talent Contest:

The annual Saturday Skit and Talent Night at the AEOE Statewide Spring conference is a tradition of sharing the musical and creative talents of our members, while providing for a fun and entertaining evening. 

Prizes will be awarded for the best original acts, skits and/or songs in the following categories:

• “Best Representation of the Conference Theme”
• “Most Educational,”
• “Most Humorous,” and
• “Most Spectacular Production!”

If you or a group would like to submit an act for the 2008 Talent Night, please be aware of the following guidelines for performers:

1. Acts should reflect the conference theme, “Connecting to Community,” or be otherwise related to Environmental and Outdoor Education;
2. Acts should always be respectful of all cultures, religions, political parties, etc;
3. Acts should be family-friendly, with no inappropriate language or subject matter for our members who bring their children;
4. Acts should be limited to 5-7 minutes in length (special exceptions may be made with advanced request and only if program time allows);
5. Acts should be original, written and created by the performer or group (we've all seen the "old standards" many times!)
