Participants will experience several solar cell activities that can be implemented at your outdoor schools. You’ll receive FREE copies of a poster (Photosynthesis vs. Photovoltaics) and Teaching Solar Guidebook.

215 Sunshine in a Box:
Cooking with the Sun
Tor Allen (Solar Schoolhouse [The Rahus Institute]) / F1
Sunshine in a Box = 300F! Learn to capture the sun’s heat to cook meals & pasteurize water… in a cardboard box. You’ll build your own cooker and learn how this simple technology is changing lives worldwide.
