Description: Oversee the prescription medications as well as the over-the-counter medication given to the students who attend our school on a weekly basis. Spend Monday through Friday in residential setting. 5th and 6th graders attend hands-on science program. Attending to kids who are homesick, have aches and pains of being away from home. Take care of medical protocol for special needs kids. Dispense medications morning noon and night. Stay on site during week. On call entire time. Take injured students to hospital when needed. Contact parents to clarify medical questions. Speak with teachers regarding health and safety of students.
Qualifications: Must have CPR/first aid cerfication. Must be certified medic. Must be 18 years or older. Must enjoy working with kids. Experience in camp setting helpful, but not mandatory.
