Program Description: Astrocamp is a unique astronomy and physical science summer camp located in the stunning San Jacinto Mountains of Southern California. Lasers, exploding gas balls, launching rockets, assembling space stations underwater and more keep campers interested and amazed. Campers spend evenings looking at the rings of Saturn and beyond into deep space with our exciting telescope program. Our adventure program takes campers rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. We have exceptional labs and facilities, including a ropes course, rock wall, indoor micro-gravity pool and two state-of-the art telescope viewing areas. We are located on a 90-acre campus adjacent to a national forest, only minutes away from world-class rock climbing, outstanding hiking and mountain biking.

We are looking for an energetic, dynamic, flexible leader to be the head of Astrocamp’s Art program. Basic requirements are a love for children, and a knowledge of art and art projects for students aging from 8-15 years of age. The photography Instructor/Coordinator reports to the Program Director. Responsibilities Include:
Salary: $250/week starting
Housing: fulltime
Meals: fulltime (some of the best food in the camping industry)
