Weekend Outdoor Education Assistant
Program Description: The Clear Creek weekend program serves middle and high school students of LAUSD. In a mix of activities aimed at social/academic growth and nature appreciation, students participate in group initiative games, instructional hikes and other traditional camp activities.
Job Description: Assist in and lead daily operation of outdoor education program; including leading hikes, participating in campfire program, running meals, and supervising cabins overnight. Twenty minutes from Pasadena/Glendale area off Angeles Crest Hwy.
Friday 4:30 PM to Sunday 1:00 PM, with 23 hours on clock per weekend. Approximately every other weekend on schedule. Great job for students or as secondary income for those with Mon.-Fri. work.

Job Status: Part-Time
Qualifications: At least 18 years old. High school graduate. Able to live on-site during shift. Desire to work with children. Experience in residential programs, education, science and/or recreation a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation. We are currently hiring for both boys' and girls' dorms (male and female applicants accepted).
Salary: $13/hour
