This special award recognizes your extraordinary effort to support environmental education legislation AB 1498 and your continuing campaign for ongoing funding from the State of California. Through the funding provided by your successful legislation which was signed by Governor Davis on October 10, 1999, over 30,000 additional students were able to participate in a resident outdoor science school program this past school year!
