Rivers of golden aspens are a natural wonder not to be missed. Re-connect
with and make new AEOE friends. Learn about the Mono Lake committee
and the mono basin while canoeing on the lake amidst fabulous tufa

What to bring/expect...
It will be cold, especially at night. It may rain.
Bring food and water (we may be at an undeveloped site this year), camping
gear, towel for the hot springs, a donation for the Mono Lake committee (last
year folks gave between $2-5 or more), smiles, guitars, and adventuring spirit.
Costs...
Camping fee of $5, $15 if you are not a member and will be joining
at the event, and plan for one Saturday night out to dinner at
the world-famous
(really!) Whoa Nellie Deli at the Mobil station, if you’d
like to.
When...
October 17-19, 2003 We will be canoeing Saturday the 18th at 9:45 am at
Navy Beach, South Tufa. (Last year some folks only came to canoeing, which
is no problem)
