    Naturalists work with small groups of 10–23 students throughout each week, taking a whole child approach to outdoor education focused on social emotional learning, ecology, environmental stewardship, conservation, health, and the arts. Naturalists are responsible for the development of trail activities and curriculum, assisting with some evening programs and program implementation.

    Naturalist will conduct daily discovery walks with the students. Leading students to go tidepooling, explore Año Nuevo state park to view the northern elephant seals, and hike in the redwoods at Memorial Park.

    SALARY & BENEFITS: $22/hour; 33-35 hours/week; 3 days a week (M-W or W-F) ~3 hours overtime/week; one night on call/week ($50/night stipend); occasionally work one day field trips outside of the normal 3 day programs, HSA account with employer contribution; housing not included

    START DATE: Program starts January 19, 2022, Staff Training is from January 10-14, 2022
