The Sky Mountain Outdoor Educational Center is a new residential camp in the Sierra Nevadas that sits right on Lake Valley Reservoir. Owned and operated by the San Joaquin County Office of Education, Sky Mounted is located in Emigrant Gap, CA and only 45 minutes from north Lake Tahoe. If you are looking for an opportunity to create a new experience to inspire students in outdoor education, then look no further. With snow in the winter months and a pristine mountain lake in the summer and fall, there are views to be enjoyed all year!

Our staff of Naturalists will be teaching environmental and science concepts while guiding students through a new and unique environment. Applicants with experience in education, outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship will be considered. Includes paid training of Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED. Shared dorm-style housing is provided as well as meals during program. Salary range $23 - $28 /hour and includes benefits/retirement. Salary range $3,978 - $4,837/month .
