Camp Green Meadows Outdoor School is seeking individuals to join our team. CGMOS is a Residential Outdoor Science School owned and operated by Merced County Office of Education. We are a COSA certified program and have been in operation for over 60 years.
We are seeking dedicated individuals, committed to science education and experiential learning, that foster character and community.
Under the administrative direction of the Principal – Outdoor Education Center, the Naturalist Interns will fulfill those responsibilities necessary to implement a successful environmental education experience for our visiting students, teachers, and counselors. Interns will lead groups of students as they hike the trails, explore, and gain a greater knowledge of the natural world. Interns will provide on-call emergency response services as part of his/her room and board package which includes on-site accommodations and meals during the school program.

Camp Green Meadows is in Fish Camp, California, two miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. Our campus is at 5,000 feet elevation which gives us four seasons. In addition to the massive granite, waterfalls, and giant Sequoias of neighboring Yosemite, we have “Big Creek” running through our campus, a meadow, and one million acres of our Sierra National Forest classroom surrounding our school.
Candidates must enjoy working with children and adventuring in the great outdoors as our program operates in all weather conditions. The Camp Green Meadows experience is an exciting, life-changing and rewarding adventure!!!
