Fall 2022 Regional Meet-up: Bay Area

Bay Area Meet-up! Join environmental and outdoor education professionals from across the SF Bay Area to explore a local site, meet colleagues working in a variety of settings, and deepen your practice through shared learning. The event will include a tour of the site, networking activities, open space discussions, and our annual fall awards ceremony celebrating the northern and southern environmental educators of the year (the ceremony will be held online, with participants joining from across the state).

Meet-up Location: Point Bonita YMCA, 981 Fort Barry, Sausalito, CA 94965

The Point Bonita YMCA is an outdoor education, conference, and retreat center located in the Marin Headlands in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. As a branch of the YMCA of San Francisco, their education team partners with schools and other YMCA programming throughout San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo counties to provide enrichment programming in environmental education and climate justice.
