Fall Regional Meetup - One Cool Earth, San Luis Obispo

The SLO County Environmental Education Coalition and the Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education are collaborating to give you a special day in the community! This event will be held at One Cool Earth’s headquarter garden. Explore the space, meet colleagues working in a variety of settings across the region, and deepen your practice. We'll explore topics related to advocacy, both at the school level and the city level. We'll also get a chance to discuss funding opportunities, best practices in the field, and environmental justice. The event will include networking activities, snacks, and a tour of the site. 

Environmental educator professionals in any role and setting are all encouraged to attend. 

Site accessibility: Flat, level terrain, although the garden space itself is a mix of gravel and wood chips so we recommend wheels that can handle that terrain. Parking for people with disabilities is available. 

CENTRAL COAST LOCATION: One Cool Earth builds, creates, and sustains outdoor learning environments across San Luis Obispo County, using school gardens and community spaces as living classrooms.
