Located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills in Sonora, CA, you will teach science, adventure and history classes to groups of primarily 4th-6th grade students.  You will belay at the Challenge Course and operate the zipline.  You will care for live birds of prey.  You will drive students on a school bus to local field trips (we provide the training).  You also guide and mentor our Naturalist Interns during their 10-month internship.  This is a non-exempt 10-month permanent position with a salary schedule of $26.53-32.22/hr.  It provides full benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance and CalPERS Retirement.  This position requires a college degree and 3 years of experience teaching in a formal or informal setting, see job description for full details.  For more information contact Janelle McDonald or call 209-532-3691.
