    Attention all adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts! Are you looking for the ultimate experience in camp counseling that will allow you to connect with nature, inspire young minds, and create memories that will last a lifetime? Look no further than the original 6th grade camp, Cuyamaca Outdoor School! Located in the breathtaking mountains of San Diego, our 6th camp offers a unique and immersive learning environment where students can explore the natural world in a residential setting. As a camp counselor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for the outdoors while shaping the next generation of environmental stewards. So, pack your bags and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime because the great outdoors is calling!

    Qualifications:

    • Graduation from high school or its equivalent.
    • Experience working in a recreation program with school-age children is desirable.
    • Ability to lead songs, play guitar, and lead team building activities is desirable.
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptable personality, strong work ethic, and likes to have fun.

    Job Duties:

    • Leads cabin games, songs, stories, and other team-building activities.
    • Assists in the supervision of 5th and 6thgrade students in the cabin and dining hall during outdoor school living activities such as bathroom breaks, shower time, meals, and morning and bedtime routines.
    • Assists in maintaining positive discipline and safety in cabins.
    Position Details:

    Now Hiring! $17.00 starting hourly rate, plus room and board, great food, and more; This is a limited term position, through June 7, 2024
