This agricultural supervisor position, located at UC Elkus Ranch, an Environmental Education Center and property of the University of California, will be responsible for the oversight of the property's operations and facilities management, supervision of all ranch staff, and general coordination of both the educational programs, the conference center, and main point of contact for communications with the University, and any internal or external organization. Although this is a primarily supervisory position, because of the limited staff size the incumbent is expected to frequently and actively engage in delivering education programs, maintaining infrastructure and equipment, scheduling and purchasing, in addition to carrying out the supervisory, coordination, and fundraising duties.
This is an on-site position, with limited opportunity for remote work, and with expectation that job duties may involve on-site work after hours, in inclement weather, and being able to respond to urgent issues at the Ranch at all hours and on short notice. This position is the overall lead for UC Elkus Ranch, reporting to the CE San Mateo/San Francisco Counties Director. This position has the potential for career ladder advancement.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
Pay Scale: $83,900.00/year to $118,000.00/year
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.

This is a designated position requiring a background check and may require fingerprinting due to the nature of the job responsibilities.
