We offer a small 3-4 week outdoor school program every year in October, at the Sierra Adventure Center (Bernasconi Ranch) in Big Pine. In addition, we offer field science programs through our Eastern Sierra Watershed Project program throughout the school year, to grades 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8, and we have developed our own place-based monthly education programs for 3rd grade, "Taking Root," and 5th-grade, "Branching Out," in collaboration with the Bishop Paiute Tribe (and now working with the Big Pine Paiute Tribe as well). We also have a school garden program, and offer 2 weeks of Sierra Adventure Summer Camp to our local students. We live in an amazing place and want outdoor education opportunities to be available at every grade level.
