Pinecrest Expedition Academy, in Pinecrest CA is hiring a teaching assistant for our K-8 indoor and outdoor program. 

The assistant will work alongside classroom teacher and curriculum director to help facilitate intervention groups for core subjects and outdoor education. A successful applicant will possess a love for the outdoors and a desire to engage in thoughtful discussions with children, a background in outdoor education with knowledge of environmental science is preferred. 

Our program combines classroom and core subjects and incorporates outdoor education and experiential learning. We spent a significant amount of time outdoors and in the winter time on the snow.
