    Join our growing community! Withywindle Adventure School is a land based outdoor school in Sacramento, CA. We believe that children belong outside! In our first year of operations, we currently offer forest school groups and summer camp, and are launching Adventure Club (an afterschool program) in fall 2025. We are looking for a compassionate, creative educator to lead our second summer camp location, with potential for continuing on with us through the school year. 

    Position Details:

    • Schedule: June 16 - August 15 (No camp June 19 or June 30 - July 4)

    • Hours: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday (plus additional time for curriculum planning)

    • Compensation: $23-$25 per hour (50% tuition discount for dependents) 

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A child-centered, neurodiversity-affirming educator

    • Strong knowledge of child development

    • Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education

    • A background in science or naturalist studies is a plus

    • Ability to foster a supportive and engaging community
