    Now Hiring Seasonal Unit Directors, Summer Camp Counselors, Lifeguards, and Program Leaders 

    Located 30 minutes from Yosemite National Park in Groveland, CA, Camp Tuolumne Trails offers short-term overnight summer camps for youth and adults with disabilities.

    Campers and counselors sleep in fully accessible cabins and participate in a variety of traditional camp activities including swimming, arts and crafts, campfires, archery, field games, naturalist walks and scavenger hunts, gold-panning, hayrides, camp-outs, and more. All these activities promote CTT's mission: to create inclusion and safe recreation for people of all abilities in the outdoors.

    These positions offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while living and playing right outside Yosemite National Park. Camp Tuolumne Trails provides an inclusive, supportive environment where staff help youth and adults with disabilities enjoy outdoor adventures. With fully accessible facilities, engaging camp activities, on-site housing and meals, professional certifications, and financial incentives like travel stipends and end-of-summer bonuses, it’s an ideal role for motivated, service-oriented individuals who value community, nature, and personal growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • For supervisory positions, must be at least 21+ years old
    • Physically capable of working an active day with individuals with a variety of needs, ages seven to older adults 
    • Attend 10-Day Summer Staff Training (June 16-25, 2025)
    • Attend all or most of the 8 sessions of camp (June 29-Aug 18)
    • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is desired, but not necessary
    • For program leader positions, previous experience or education in related field required
    • Highly-motivated, service-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply

    Benefits:

    • On-site housing, meals provided
    • ServSafe, Wilderness First-Aid (WFA), and CPR certifications
    • Lifeguard Certification Reimbursement (as applicable)
    • 2.5-3.5 days off between sessions
    • Counselor Day-rate: $115/Day
    • Program Lead Day-rate: $120/Day,
    • Up to $250 travel stipend and $550 End of Summer Bonus!
