Life Lab Garden Instructor at H.A. Hyde Elementary School in Pajaro Valley Unified School District. Watsonville, CA (Santa Cruz County).

Full-time, year-round, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekends and evenings for school, community, and Life Lab events.

Our Garden Instructors are dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching experiential garden-based science, literacy, nutrition, environmental education and cooking with elementary-age children. Garden Instructors are the heart of a growing Life Lab partnership with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) to provide rich, garden-based learning and social-emotional wellbeing for more than 7,000 students across 16 elementary schools. Garden Instructors plan and lead lessons for students TK-6 during both the school day and afterschool in addition to co-planning and hosting opportunities for family involvement in the gardens.

Compensation: $58,425 annual salary ($59,450 for Spanish bilingual) with generous benefits.
