Cabin Leader Job Description:

Cabin Leaders are the big brothers and big sisters of our program, as the primary care takers of our precious 10, 11 and 12 year old students.   Cabin Leaders sleep in cabins overnight with the students, telling stories and singing songs at bedtime and waking them cheerfully each morning.  Cabin Leaders must enjoy hiking, playing outdoors, performing skits, lead team building activities and teaching night time programs like astronomy and night sensory hikes.

We are located in the San Bernardino National Forest in Twin Peaks, California at an approximate elevation of 5200 ft.   

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.  Be CPR/ First Aid certified, able to lift 50lbs, and able to hike trails on mountainous terrain.

Compensation:

$80/day worked with room and board; meaning meals are provided when working and you will be assigned to off-site housing.  IF you do not require housing, the compensation starts at $90/day worked plus meals.  

We also offer two bonus opportunities:

1. Commitment Bonus - when you complete your full season agreement, you will receive a $250 bonus at end of season.

2. Recruitment Bonus - If you recruit someone who works for Three Oaks a minimum of three months, you will receive a $150 bonus.
