Thank you for your understanding.
Join Solar Schoolhouse for an afternoon workshop on teaching solar.
As we move toward a clean energy future, it’s important to explore the possibilities through hands-on activities. Because of its role as the primary energy source on Earth, the Sun’s energy is central to these explorations. In this workshop, we'll share several fun & engaging activities designed to introduce your students to the prime energy source on Earth, the Sun. Making electricity from sunlight to power motors, fans, radios, music, lights, and water pumps will energize and engage your students. This hands-on workshop includes materials that you can use to bring solar explorations to your teaching immediately!
Location: SCICON Outdoor School, Springville, CA (exact location TBD)
Note that this workshop is being offered in conjunction with the statewide conference; separate registration is required.
Date: Friday, May 1, 2020 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
